Ogden School District Child Nutrition Payment Policy

The Ogden School District recognizes the importance of proper nutrition in support of our goal of providing a quality education to all students. Our policy allows students to overdraw lunch accounts by a maximum of $4.35 (the equivalent of three lunches) in elementary schools. In secondary schools, the maximum that can be overdrawn is $3.90 (the equivalent of two lunches). When the overdraft limit is reached, students will be provided with an alternate meal. During the last two weeks of school, no overdraft charges will be allowed. Account balance notices are sent home weekly with elementary school students and all students will be notified when they have a low balance. Parents can also check their student’s account balance by logging in to their child’s SIS/Aspire account. We appreciate parents understanding it is their responsibility to ensure their child has adequate funds to eat school meals.

Ogden School District Child Nutrition Refund Policy

When a student leaves the district or graduates, they are asked to check out with the Child Nutrition Manager at their school.  The student is made aware of their lunch balance, whether it be in the negative or the positive.  If they desire to have the balance refunded to them, then the school will either cut them a check or give them cash.
